With Elementor, you can easily add a Podcast Player to your WordPress website using the native Podcast Player widget. This process allows for simple integration and customization within your page or post, giving you full control over the design and functionality of your podcast player.

Podcast Player in Elementor

Step 1: Create or Edit a Page

  1. Go to Pages > Add New or Pages > Edit in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Select a page you want to add the podcast player to or create a new page.
  3. Click Edit with Elementor to open the Elementor page builder.

Step 2: Look for the Podcast Player Widget

  1. Once in the Elementor editor, look at the left sidebar panel.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the sidebar where you’ll find the “WORDPRESS” tab.
  3. Click on the “WORDPRESS” tab to reveal the available WordPress widgets.

Step 3: Select and Place the Podcast Player Widget

  1. In the WordPress widget section, find the Podcast Player widget.
  2. Drag and drop the widget into the desired section of your page.

As soon as you drop the widget into the content area, the podcast player options will appear on the left sidebar.

Step 4: Enter Your Podcast Feed URL

  1. Once the Podcast Player widget is placed, you’ll see a field to enter your Podcast Feed URL in the left sidebar.
  2. Copy and paste your podcast’s RSS feed URL into the field. The player will then automatically display the podcast episodes based on the feed.

Step 5: Customize the Podcast Player Widget

After adding the feed URL, you can begin customizing the player using the available settings in the sidebar. The customization options include: Player Layouts: Choose different display styles that best fit your website’s look and feel. Show or Hide Elements: Toggle visibility of items like the search bar or episode descriptions. Add Subscription Buttons: Include buttons for users to subscribe on platforms like Apple Podcasts or Spotify. Episode Sorting: Sort episodes by date or title to customize the order in which they are shown. Accent Color: Adjust the player’s accent color to match your branding. These settings are straightforward and easy to adjust. Experiment with various combinations to create a podcast player that integrates seamlessly with your site.

Step 6: Save and Publish

Once you’re satisfied with the design and functionality of your podcast player, click Publish or Update at the bottom of the Elementor left sidebar panel. Your changes will now be live, and your podcast player will appear on the page or post exactly as you customized it.
