Welcome to Selfhost Podcasting

Selfhost Podcasting lets you create podcast RSS feeds from inside WordPress. You create a podcast, add show details, add episodes, and the plugin generates a feed URL that podcast directories and podcast apps can read.

The plugin is built around ownership and portability. Your podcast records, episode records, settings, and optional private podcasting data stay in your WordPress site. Optional integrations can connect the feed to Podcast Player, analytics prefix services, S3-compatible storage, and, in the Pro build, private subscriber access.

Use this documentation as a working guide:

  • Start with Getting Started if this is a new installation.
  • Use Create Podcast when setting up a show, adding episodes, importing episodes, or preparing a feed for submission.
  • Use Integrations when connecting players, analytics, cloud storage, migrations, background jobs, or private podcasting.
  • Use Troubleshooting when feeds, uploads, imports, previews, or private access do not behave as expected.

Most actions happen in WordPress admin > Selfhost Podcasting. Each podcast has its own management screen with sections for overview, podcast information, episodes, connected services, feed settings, private podcasting options when Pro is available, and error logs.
