E-commerce Access Integrations Pro
The Pro module can automatically grant or revoke private podcast access from supported commerce and membership plugins.
Supported integrations
- WooCommerce products.
- Easy Digital Downloads products.
- MemberPress memberships.
- Paid Memberships Pro membership levels.
Only installed and active providers appear in the private podcasting integration card.
Configure automatic access
- Open a podcast.
- Go to Private Podcasting.
- Enable private access.
- In Integrations, choose the provider if more than one is active.
- Choose the product, download, membership, or level that should unlock the podcast.
- Click Save integration.
How access is granted
When a matching order, purchase, transaction, or membership event is completed, the integration resolves the listener identity and creates or refreshes a grant. If the podcast uses private RSS delivery, a token is generated and notification email can be sent. If the podcast uses website-only access, the listener must have a WordPress user account.
Guest checkout behavior
Website-only listening requires a WordPress login. For guest purchases, choose one behavior in Access Rules:
- Skip guests without an account.
- Create a WordPress account for guests and send a password setup link.
Private RSS delivery can issue guest subscriber tokens without a WordPress user account.
Revocation behavior
Access can be revoked when the source provider reports refunds, cancellations, expirations, stopped subscriptions, failed orders, or removed membership status. If the subscriber still has another active grant for the same podcast, the token can remain active.

WooCommerce
Syncs order payment/status changes, checkout events, and refund events for mapped products.
Easy Digital Downloads
Syncs completed download purchases and payment status changes for mapped downloads.
MemberPress
Syncs completed and renewed transactions, refunds, expiration, paused/resumed/stopped subscriptions, and membership expiration.
Paid Memberships Pro
Syncs checkout, membership level changes, membership expiry, and recurring payment completion.
Troubleshooting
No provider appears
Install and activate a supported commerce plugin.
No products or memberships appear
Create the provider object first, then reload the private podcasting panel.
A saved integration is inactive
Reactivate the provider plugin or switch the mapping to another active provider.
