Podcast Feed Composer Documentation
We have created a basic documentation for Podcast Feed Composer to help you get started. If you have any other queries about the plugin, feel free to contact us. We will surely try to assist you and help you get started.
Here are some of the terms used in the plugin.
Source Feed
The “Source Feed” refers to the original content feed you receive from your external podcast hosting service, if you’re using one. If you need to make modifications to this feed or manage multiple feeds, you can utilize our “Podcast Feed Composer” plugin.
Composed Feed
The “Composed Feed” is a custom and personalized feed generated by our plugin. This feed incorporates all the alterations you wish to apply to your Source Feed or multiple Source Feeds. Think of it as an intermediary layer between your podcast hosting service and the various podcasting platforms you use. It allows you to have full control over your podcast content and how it’s delivered to your audience.
Here are simplified step-by-step instructions for creating a composed feed from your original source feed:
- Access Your WordPress Dashboard: Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Podcast Feed Composer: In the dashboard, go to “Settings,” and then select “Podcast Feed Composer.”
- Name Your Podcast: Provide a name for your podcast.
- Start the Process: Click the “Start” button to begin.
- Enter Your Existing Podcast Feed URL: Input the URL of your existing podcast feed.
- Add the Feed: Click the “Add Feed” button.
- Fetch Your Podcast Content: The plugin will fetch your podcast’s information and episodes from the existing feed.
- Enable Automatic Podcasting: Check the box for automatic podcasting of new episodes.
- Create Your Composed Feed: Click the “Create” button.
That’s it! Your new personalized podcast is now ready to launch. You can visit the “Manage Composed” section to review your new podcast, which includes the same information as your original podcast but with your personalized feed URL.
